Revoke and Restart Corporate Action (revoke an executed announcement and copy it)

Revokes an executed announcement and copies it into a new announcement (the admin console's "revoke and copy").

Request parameters

  • Required: ann_id (announcement ID).
  • Optional: audit_frontend_resource (caller-provided audit context).
  • See the field descriptions for the format, allowed values, and business meaning of each field.

Business notes

  • Only for announcements that have been executed and whose payable date is within the last 30 days; a payable date in the future or more than 30 days ago returns 90501 (only announcements with a payable date within 30 days can be revoked).
  • It reverses the executed entitlement processing of the original announcement (real position or cash rollback) and creates a new announcement for reprocessing. This is high-risk.

Risk warning

This operation may affect real business data or asset status. Verify the target announcement and operation type before calling.

Result

On success the original announcement is revoked and a new announcement is created as its copy.
