Cancel Voting Instruction

Void the voting instruction a specific customer has submitted under a shareholder-meeting (Voting) corporate action.

Request parameters

  • Required: ann_id (corporate-action ID identifying the target shareholder meeting), aaid (account ID identifying the target customer account)
  • The two parameters together locate the customer and shareholder meeting whose instruction is to be voided.

Business notes

Once voided, the customer's previously submitted voting instruction for this meeting no longer takes effect.

Risk warning

This operation voids a customer's submitted voting instruction and may affect that customer's voting outcome. Verify the target customer and shareholder meeting before calling.

Result

On success, the voting instruction is voided; the business result is in data. Interpret it together with the business code.

The Broker ACCESS_TOKEN must be granted the permission above, or the call will be rejected.

Account ID identifying the target client account whose voting instruction is cancelled.

Pass the internal numeric ID of the customer's securities account (aaid), not the securities account number account_no (such as H00000000) or the customer ID member_id. One customer can have multiple aaid values.
